First Lutheran always welcomes new hands to help make the church a better place for everyone. There are plenty of ways to get involved and become part of the community.

• Food Ministry
  • Promote our food bank and help coordinate monthly transportation to local food banks
• Outreach
  • Help coordinate outreach activities and events
• Advocacy
  • Sign up for ELCA Advocacy alerts and make announcements letting members know about advocacy opportunities 
• Music
  • We are looking for volunteers for choir and/ or chimes (no prior experience needed!)
• Homebound ministry
  • A committed group that meets with those unable to attend in-person services and distributes communion
• Altar Guild
  • Care for the alter, furnishings and linens. Help prepare for each service
